Welcome to The Forth Inn, Aberfoyle. We are located at the heart of the Trossachs and in the centre of Aberfoyle. Our aim is to provide "comfortable accommodation, superb food, great beer and a good time"!
Known locally as "A Taste of Aberfoyle" and awarded "Best Place to Eat Out" by Visit Scotland. The Forth Inn is a family run Inn, ideally located for exploring the National Park and in particular The Trossachs, all the usual outdoor activities are available, walking, fishing, cycling, golf and photography. We are also very close to Go Ape!, Loch Katrine and Glengoyne distillery. Stirling and Doune castles are both less than 20 miles from Aberfoyle. These activities and attractions combined with the stunning scenery make the Forth Inn and Aberfoyle a perfect place to visit for all types of people of all ages. As well as the beers we serve (including 3 real ales), we also have a selection of around 50 malt whisky's, most of which you can't get in the supermarkets.
The Inn also provides facilities for weddings (you really need to come and see the room!), we can cater from 2 to 120 guest's (and yes, we have done a function for 2 people!)
Dinner, Bed & Breakfast offers are available. The Inn accommodation is fully en-suite with 6 rooms available.
Along with Callander, Aberfoyle forms the major gateway to the Trossachs.
